Current Openings: (as

These immediate openings are for sub-contractors, with an expected work load
of 20-40 hours per week. You are expected to have your own computer and high
speed internet connection. You will work with our team of Internet experts
in many locations, using a number of online tools to coordinate your projects.
You will be expected to properly define, and document your projects, and manage
and report your time. The work is largely telecommuting but periodic face-to-face
meeting are required, especially at the start of projects.
If you are good, you will have a chance to shine, if not, you will not continue.
JR. SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOR:
Linux and web server admin experience
Shell scripting experience
Redhat, debian, slackware installation and operating experience
Skilled in:
- User and email user creating
- logs rolling
- backup running
- Database maintaining
Experience
with tools: bash, ssh, vi, jove/emacs/jed
with source installation tools: configure, make, perl
make, cpan, patch
with archive updating tools: rpm, apt-get, up2date
JR. PROGRAMMER:
Required: demonstratable skill in perl, php (java optional)
Desired: at least 3 years of CS course work or similiar theoretical
design and programming background
- Self starter and self manager.
- Able to track tasks and projects and report status and progress on a daily
online basis.
- Must have computer with high speed connection
- Be able to interact with other team members online.
